Small Business Saturday Welcome Station Generates $5478+ In Sales For Equality Business Alliance Member Businesses!
Shoppers Were Encouraged To Support Small Businesses All Year Long
For the 5th straight year the Equality Business Alliance served as our LGBTQ+ San Diego Shop Small American Express Neighborhood Champion generating $5478 in sales, and capturing free television and print marketing for our members.
On Shop Small Saturday we featured participating members in our annual Shop Small Passport. The first 150 shoppers to visit our welcome station and present a receipt showing $25 or more spent on that day-- from any small business listed in our Shop Small Passport, received a free Small Business Saturday tote bag with gifts, coupons and local information.
Over $5,478 in sales receipts were presented at our welcome station, for an average ticket of $36.52!
Our welcome station also provided music, refreshments, and snacks to help get shoppers in the spirit of supporting local.
